Job Description: As an Accountant, you will play a vital role in managing the company's financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. You will work closely with other members of the finance team to support the company's financial objectives and contribute to its overall success. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain accurate and timely financial records, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements. Perform month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations. Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to support decision-making and strategic planning. Analyze financial data and trends to identify variances, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement. Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other relevant accounting standards and regulations. Assist with internal and external audits by providing supporting documentation and answering inquiries. Collaborate with other departments, such as finance, operations, and management, to provide financial insights and support business initiatives. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices. Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Finance Manager or Controller. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a related role. Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures. Proficiency in accounting software/systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Office, especially Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in manufacturing/retail/technology/healthcare industry (depending on your company's sector) is a plus.
