Come and experience your future!This early-career Contracts role will support various activities for the PAC-3 Production/International contracts organization within Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control Business Unit. The selected candidate will be an individual contributor but must be able to succeed with minimal supervision and direction. Perform contracts management functions across the spectrum of actions associated with providing supplies and services, from capture through proposal, contract award, and all phases of contract administration. Provide business advice and guidance to and coordinate with other functions including program management, finance, legal, subcontracts, business development, engineering, human resources, accounting, and compliance to effectively manage a breadth of responsibilities, including contract solicitations / capture, negotiations, and contract terms, including fulfillment of related obligations. Serve as authorized, empowered representative for the Company as interface with Customer buying representatives responsible for building effective relationships and managing contracts to support business goals and objectives. Coordinate solutions to contractual issues and Customer concerns related to Company performance. Ensure contractual compliance with all laws and regulations, and adherence to Delegation of Authority and approval requirements for proposals and contractual actions. Lead and support audits, as appropriate, with internal and external audit teams and agencies to support contract-related activities and verify compliance. Ensure final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations. May plan and participate in training of contract practices within Company. Collect contractual data and compiles reports in response to Corporate and Business Area requests. Basic Qualifications: -Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.-Basic understanding of the proposal and contracting process-Excellent verbal and written communication skills-Demonstrated strength in problem solving-Demonstrated ability to work in teams-Demonstrated ability to Multi-task-Perform in high volume, fast-paced environment-Ability/willingness to travel as needed Desired Skills: *Experience with Proposal writing*Knowledge of Lockheed Martin policies and procedures* Knowledge of Lockheed Martin's business systems* Contract drafting experience and experience with various contract types and contracting vehicles* This individual will have demonstrated abilities to develop customer relationships, provide RFP shaping/analysis and have participated in proposal development and bid strategy* Ability to obtain a Security Clearance *Candidate should be able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and achieve program goals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment*Candidate should be a proactive self-starter who is detail and teamwork oriented*Capable of working independently with general supervision Clearance Level: None Other Important Information You Should Know Expression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
