The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:Job Overview: The Employment Litigation Associate Attorney will represent clients in various employment-related litigation matters, including discrimination, harassment, wage hour disputes, and employment contract cases. They will also provide counsel on workplace law issues and assist in developing legal strategies.Duties:Represent clients in employment litigation matters, including discrimination, harassment, wage hour disputes, and employment contract cases.Develop legal strategies and provide advice on workplace law issues such as employee relations, risk mitigation, ADA accommodations, employment agreements, and employment-related policies.Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.Take and defend depositions.Argue motions in court.Conduct legal research on federal and state employment statutes.Requirements:JD from an ABA accredited Law School.Admitted to the New York Bar and in good standing.1-2 years of employment litigation experience.Familiarity with federal and state employment statutes.Strong academic credentials.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Preferred Skills:Experience providing advice and counsel on workplace law issues.Ability to work independently.Knowledge of ADA and other workplace accommodations.Experience with reductions-in-force.Proficiency in drafting employment-related agreements.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA accredited Law School.Admission to the New York Bar.Skills:Strong understanding of federal and state employment statutes.Excellent legal research and writing skills.Ability to develop legal strategies.Strong advocacy and negotiation skills.Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
