This is where Chapter Next can be part of your solution. Chapter Next is a 12-16 week paid returnship hosted by RMS. Candidates who have taken a professional career hiatus for at least 1+ years will be eligible to apply to this program. During this returnship participants will become part of a community of similarly experienced professionals with challenging work scopes that contribute to the great innovation produced by Lockheed Martin! Selected candidates will be exposed to comprehensive training, professional development opportunities, networking opportunities, and individual based mentoringOur goal is to provide the fundamental tools needed to be successful in your career field, and to potentially prepare you for an opportunity to join Lockheed Martin full-time. Fields of focus will be diverse across the program and include functional and technical opportunities.This returnship position is as Training Administrator Assistant at the Hercules Training Center (HTC) and will be located in Marietta, Georgia. The Training Administrator Assistant (TAA) reports to the Training Center Manager and assists the Training Administrator. Primary duties includes registration for students, scheduling of training events, preparing monthly and quarterly reports, act as the student liaison, and creating and maintaining all records and files per Lockheed Martin standards. The TAA will also create and maintain records and files for compliance with the Department of Homeland Security, TSA and civil aviation certifying agencies to include but not limited to the FAA and EASA. Other duties as assigned.#chapternextreturnship Basic Qualifications: Must have at least 2 years administrative experience or bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with combined education/experience of 2 years. Must be able to work in a multi-functional diverse position. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Must be able to demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills, and strong ability to multi-task but remain organized. Must have excellent time management skills and the ability to maintain an efficient business office with little direct supervision. Must have the ability to prioritize tasks to ensure timelines are met while assisting students and personnel. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening. Industrial, government, military, and international security processes experience preferred. Desired Skills: Prior experience at an aircrew training center (or other type of training center); experience with personnel scheduling; experience with learning management systems. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
